About the session
IRSA hosted an information session with Medtronic's statistics team at the School of Statistics. Medtronic presented how statistics, data science and AI are applied to clinical research challenges for medical devices, followed by a panel discussion with four Medtronic panelists and an open Q&A.
- Faculty explored methodological challenges and possible research and student project partnerships.
- Students learned about day-to-day work and internships, and networked with the Medtronic team.
