Conference Description

The 2023 annual conference for the Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications (IRSA) will be held on May 18-20 at the University of Minnesota. This year's theme is "The Fast and the Curious: Modern Markov Chain Monte Carlo,” focusing on recent developments in MCMC applications, methods, and theory.

Present a Talk (students only)

We invite students working on MCMC research to participate in this conference by presenting a short (10 minute) talk. Funding is available. Interested students should send a talk title and any questions to the Director of the School of Statistics, Galin Jones, at [email protected] no later than Wednesday, February 15.
