Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications

Statistics is the science of learning from data. Statisticians collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present data. We are constantly seeking better ways to do that in more and more challenging situations, using mathematics, computing, and insight. People use statistics in business, industry, medicine, government, and scientific research.

Services that we offer

Statistical Consulting:
We offer statistical consulting services to people both inside and outside of the University. Visit our consulting page to learn more.

Event Assistance:
We provide logistical support to university entities and organizations interested in hosting educational statistics-related events and activities. Initiatives must foster interdisciplinary collaboration among statisticians, data scientists, and subject matter experts. Please connect our google form to learn more or to propose an event.
